Jean
Turell  Jean Turrell-Wright, Voice and Piano Instruction
A vocal and choral specialist, Jean teaches voice and piano at Alley Kat Music Center in Cypress. Jean earned her B.A. in music from U.C. Santa Barbara and M.A. in Education from Stanford University. She is an experienced professional singer who has sung and toured with the Roger Wagner Chorale, Robert DeCormier Folk Singers, the Ray Conniff Singers, Jimmy Joyce Singers, and most recently the Pacific Chorale and Orange County Women's Chorus. Jean has taught in the Irvine, Palos Verdes, Los Angeles, and San Gabriel School Districts. Jean served as Director of Education for the Pacific Chorale for 3 years, directed the Pacific Chorale Girls Chorus for 7 years and the Bel Canto Chorus with the Coast Community Children's Chorus for one year. Currently she resides in Costa Mesa and directs a church choir in San Juan Capistrano. |
